✈️ Everywhere was carpeted, but I still managed to find some tiles 🤗
✈️ They have self-check-in kiosks (even in small towns!) — you get these super thin paper tickets, and at boarding they swap them for real ones 👌🏼
✈️ Security checks are way stricter here than in Russia 🇷🇺 They actually thought my nesting dolls were suspicious 😂
✈️ Flying to America from Russia (Chicago to Sioux Falls), I was on a tiny plane for the first time — two seats on one side, one seat on the other 😱 You could feel every little gust of wind 😂
✈️ Fun fact: traveling around the U.S., you don’t need a passport — Americans basically don’t have them (except for international travel) 🤷🏼♀️ They use their driver’s licenses instead — and literally everyone has one 💁🏼♀️
✈️ P.S. Have you ever flown on a plane? What’s your favorite airport?
Mine now is Denver, Colorado ✈️
Try it yourself — maybe one day you’ll share your own American travel story as an exchange student!
