Our Vacation

Travels
Finally, the day has come for this post—yay! 🎉
As many of you guessed, we exchange students went to Los Angeles for 6 days during spring break.
And yes, we had the full-on fun experience!
So, here are my highlights:
Day 1–2 – Disneyland & Adventure Park
Disneyland wasn’t really my thing, since the rides are super similar to the Paris one, just with different themes. Most rollercoasters were made more for kids, but still—it was all designed so perfectly. You step into each ride and it feels like you’re literally inside the movies. That level of detail impressed me!
But Adventure Park? That was so much better! The rides were faster, there were tons of cool movie-themed cafés, and even the shops looked awesome.
Tip: if you ever go to Disneyland, start with Adventure Park—you’ll get way more adrenaline!
Day 3 – Huntington Beach
This place was amazing! 🌊 The Pacific Ocean was freezing cold, but I still dared to swim (and yes, I ended up shivering like crazy). We went shopping, ate good food, chilled on the beach, and of course—I got sunburned. Now I’m walking around with a red back and shoulders, but it was worth it!
Day 4 – Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hollywood Sign & Universal Studios
The Walk of Fame wasn’t what we expected at all. There were a lot of homeless people, some pushy beggars, and the stars on the ground were sticky and dirty. It honestly felt unpleasant to walk there, so after about 30 minutes, we left. No guards, no one cared—it was disappointing.
As for the Hollywood Sign, we only managed to see it from far away since we were running out of time. I was really upset about that, but hey—it just means I have to come back and get the perfect photo someday!
And that’s why this day ended up being my favorite of the whole trip. One day, I’ll definitely return!

Try to imagine yourself on such a trip—maybe your own exchange story will take you to places you’ve always dreamed of!
