Home: Wake up at 7 AM, walk 5–10 minutes to school. Classes from 8 AM to 2 PM.
USA: Wake up at 5:30 AM, leave home at 6:35. Classes from 7:40 AM to 2:30 PM.
Home: 45-minute lessons. 6–7 a day. Breaks are 15 minutes each.
USA: Always 4 classes, each 1.5 hours long. 6-minute breaks, lunch — 27 minutes.
Home: Always running late. Always sleepy. Until 2 PM I usually survive on an apple, a banana, and a small snack.
USA: No rush. My schedule is clear, and I have time for everything. Breakfast at home, lunch at school, plus snacks in between.
Home: Sports training 5 times a week, English 3 times a week, tons of homework. Totally overloaded.
USA: Sports training 5–6 times a week. English every day 😂. Workload is okay, homework is small.
Home: Always someone to talk to about anything — especially deep, smart stuff 💡
USA: Plenty to talk about too, but not everything and not with many people. It’s hard to discuss big ideas in English the way I want 🥲
Home: Get home at 8 or almost 9 PM. Dinner at 9–10 PM.
USA: Home by 5 PM after training. And here’s the funny part — Americans have dinner at 5–6 PM!
Home: Go to bed no earlier than 11 PM, usually midnight or 1 AM, sometimes even 2–3 AM… Always tired.
USA: Bedtime around 10–11 PM. Way less sleepy during the day.
Home: Time just flies and I can’t keep up. Life feels repetitive and kinda boring. A year feels like two months.
USA: Time also flies, but it’s bright and fun. 2–3 months feel like a whole year.
