San Francisco

Travels This is America
The United States of America — what even is it?
Honestly, I’m still figuring that out… but the process has definitely started.
Right now, I want to tell you about my “vacation.” Our trip began with a very short ride to San Francisco (don’t ask me how, but I somehow managed to sleep through about 98.18% of it).
San Francisco
  • I have to admit — I completely fell in love with this city. At this point, I honestly believe it’s the most beautiful city on the planet (before this, I used to think Prague was unbeatable — and, to be fair, it still has its charm with its history, architecture, amazing people, and that subtle yet undeniable romantic vibe).
  • But San Francisco? You just can’t capture it with words — you have to see it for yourself. Still, I’ll try. This city is perfect in every way: narrow little streets with cute old cable cars, huge bridges, and breathtaking spots where you can just stare at the view forever. I spent almost two hours without moving a muscle, just watching the ocean, Alcatraz, and the city skyline. Oh, and fun fact — the land near San Francisco once belonged to the Russian Empire! I’m obsessed with this city.
Los Angeles
Not gonna lie… I was a bit disappointed. It felt dirty, the smell of marijuana was everywhere, and there were a lot of homeless people.
But — I did go to Universal Studios! It’s like Disneyland, but a million times cooler. I saw how special effects are made, watched people catch on fire (safely, don’t worry), cars explode, and so much more.
And one of my oldest dreams came true — I finally got my own magic wand! Was it worth a hundred dollars? I don’t know… but now I’m officially a wizard. If you’re in LA, skip Disneyland and go straight to Universal Studios. It’s the best theme park I’ve ever been to. Huge thanks to my host dad for making this trip happen.
Final verdict? Don’t listen to celebrities — when it comes to choosing between San Francisco and Los Angeles… it’s SAN FRANCISCO all the way.

Try it yourself — maybe your “most beautiful city” will change too!
