Relationships, talking to people, and helping each other — that’s probably the real secret to a happy and successful life.
✈️ I could go on forever about this, but let me tell you one incredible story that happened to me.
✈️ About a month ago, when we were flying back home from Las Vegas, the seating was like this: [Sylvia; me; a random man around 35–40 years old]. In America, people are super open, so I just started chatting with him.
(Of course, he could have been some kind of plane weirdo, but hey, I had Sylvia with me, haha 😂).
(Of course, he could have been some kind of plane weirdo, but hey, I had Sylvia with me, haha 😂).
✈️ Turns out… he was a pilot! Right away the jokes started: “Omg, I’m scared of heights” and “Wait, then who’s flying this plane?” 😂
✈️ We ended up talking the whole flight. I told him that for a while I dreamed of becoming a pilot, and he asked:
‘Have you ever flown in a cockpit?’
‘Have you ever flown in a cockpit?’
- Me: ‘No, I don’t think that’s even possible.’
- Him: ‘Then how could you want to be a pilot without experiencing it?’
✈️ He told me about a small private flying school (only an hour away!) and gave me his number, promising to help.
✈️ A couple weeks later, I actually called him — and he remembered me! He even called the school and it turned out they were having an Open Day for future pilots.
✈️ The best part? They offered a free flight in a small plane! (Yes, I posted a story that day 🛩️).
✈️ So what’s the point? If I hadn’t stepped out of my comfort zone and talked to a stranger, none of this would’ve happened.
✈️ It still feels unreal.
✈️ Let’s be open! Let’s connect with people! You never know what can happen, what opportunities might show up! ❤️❤️❤️
