Hey everyone! I’m in America, living my dream — and it still feels so unreal. Yesterday, when I woke up, I literally had no idea where I was or how I even got here 😂
I have an amazing host family of 4 people — I’m the fifth one :)
My host mom works with the same exchange program that brought me here. She’s also the coordinator for another girl from France who’s here right now. Plus, she’s a substitute teacher — which basically means she fills in for teachers at school when they’re sick or can’t come for some reason.
My host dad is an obstetrician — he helps babies come into the world.
I also have a host brother, Caleb (15), and a host sister, Madelyn (14). They’re awesome!
We’ve also got two dogs, Jules and Buddy. I already love them so much. Buddy tries to sneak into my room every night — that’s so funny! He loves being held, unlike Jules. She enjoys pets, but all that cuddly stuff? Not really her thing.
